My iPhone 12 mini screen is cracked but works — can I wait?
You can, but cracks in front glass usually spread, sharp edges can cut, and on an OLED panel like the iPhone 12 mini's a crack can let pressure reach the panel and start black ink-like spots. If the image is perfect and touch works everywhere, a screen protector over the crack buys time; once you see lines or spots, the panel is damaged too.
Does a screen replacement affect True Tone on the iPhone 12 mini?
